whirlpool thoughts swirling

 

a cacophony

                  my heart

                  my mind

 

a death spiral

                    inwards

 

every thought

                    strangling

 

screaming

gibberish

eyes clenched hands burrow ears

squeezing (throat)

blocking (heart)

holding (mind)

 

just breath

               caution

back down

               control

 

sinking slowly surrounding softens safer

 

one breath

                calmer

 

memory fading

 

one last thought
