Bed Time

lying on my waterbed

rocking on a silent ocean

 

life is starnge

on this sea of eternal light

                                      a beacon

outside my window

replaces the sun

                       at night

my curtain does little to interfere

 

trying to remain

    still

and block out the light

my mind organizes the morning

     study math

     read "Clockwork Orange"

     finish that project

in the end

it is much easier to roll over

     shut out the light

and forget

               what i can
